H1N1 Flu also known as Swine Flu is respiratory disease caused by the type A influenza virus. It is contagious and can be transmitted by contact with contaminated surfaces such as a bathroom door knob, sink handle, telephone or even a computer key board.

Spread of the 2009 H1N1 is thought to occur in the same way a seasonal flu spreads, from person to person through coughing or sneezing. Sometimes people may become infected by touching something, a surface or object and then touching their nose and mouth.

Facilities should provide fully stocked restrooms with soap and towels and hand sanitizers where water is not accessible.
